Soccer Expert Sutton Faces Off Against Artist Murs in Top Flight Forecasts

Arsenal's 10-game victorious streak was ended by Sunderland before the international break, but will the English top division leaders bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday?

"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," stated football expert Chris Sutton.

"Frank will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still manage to win."

Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, versus AI, readers and a range of guests.

In week 12, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.

The singer's latest album, the new release, is out on the weekend.

Soccer and Parenting Experiences

Murs is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished artist and has been a featured player of several Soccer Aid games over time - but he is not intending a serious comeback as a footballer.

"{I recently played in a benefit game the other night for a mate of mine," he explained. "The side was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will!

"I still love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it seriously again.

"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my child or boy chooses to play instead."

The singer and his wife his partner have a young family, Madison and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.

"I will not push football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their weekend football side," he added.

"I watched my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I clearly owned a soccer team for a period too.

"My father coached with us when I was a child, which is likely where I get it from. He coached our side for two or three years and had great fun with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

Premier League Predictions

Weekend, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for their star's comeback from injury but their attack is now more potent with Joao Pedro and Delap both back fit.

I still think this fixture will be quite tight, however. The Clarets are well organised and their sole at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.

It smells of a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third league win in a row.

The expert's forecast: 1-2

Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3

AI's prediction: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Cherries have been defeated in their previous couple games - albeit both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which shocked me.

On the other hand, the Hammers secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they do look competitive again.

West Ham's only on the road victory this campaign came at Forest in the summer, when West Ham manager Nuno was previously that team's manager.

Therefore, what on earth do I predict here - will it be West Ham continuing their run under Nuno, or Bournemouth responding?

I am going to go with the Cherries, because I think what occurred against Aston Villa was a anomaly.

Sutton's prediction: 2-0

Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are doing well but the visitors have picked up under Nuno. 2-2

AI's prediction: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Bees were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the season started, but they have impressed a few people under their manager and are in fine fettle with three in their past four games.

My son told me to get Brentford striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I ignored the advice.

The forward will probably score again on the weekend but I am still not going to pick him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.

The Bees have not had much success on the road this season, and the Seagulls are always strong at their stadium. Brentford will try to hit them on the break but I think the home manager's team carry much more of a danger.

Sutton's prediction: 2-1

The singer's view: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality proves to be quite tight. 1-1

The computer's outcome: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

It is a huge game for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six matches.

They have have lots of quality in their team but it still feels like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight.

As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the surprise package of the Premier League season so far.

Their performance in the two-all draw with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not witnessed anyone else disrupt the North London side like that this term, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.

The sensible thing to do to support the visitors here, because they are obviously able of roughing Fulham up too and, the last time they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of last month.

However I am not choose that. Rather, I truly need to continue going against the away team with my predictions. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their good outcomes because they clearly enjoy to defy my predictions.

Looking at the home side's home record, the sole team they have lost to is the league leaders. Marco Silva's team will be absolutely eager for a good outcome, so I am going to say they will secure three much-needed points.

Sutton's prediction: 1-0

The guest's prediction: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and also that Fulham are on a poor run... but they have nonetheless been respectable at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0

The algorithm's prediction: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

It is a tough one to predict. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 games in every tournament, but might they be one of the teams who profit from the {international break|
