The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a gripping narrative featuring celestial beings, demons, and dark forces growing in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the main group to undertake their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

Hence, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

As described by the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look out of place, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party understands precisely where to go next after a brutal first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise started the story’s plot—manipulated the foes for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, striking Thimble, and stealing all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The traitor then cleared his debts and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • But, their reputation as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the team reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the authorities that control the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This results in them little choice but to travel to Timmony in quest for Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group will not appear the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to form the Questers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can look forward to discovering which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
